    In the classical lies immortal values. Balance, aesthetics, beauty. That's what the ancient Greeks and Romans thought, and later the 18th century Swedish designers agreed. Greats like Desprez and Masreliez created new forms with the ruins left behind by antiquity, fresh in their memory from travels southward. It is the same Doric weight of these ruins that inspired the idea for the Paestum candlestick. The candlestick is designed by the antique expert Peder Lamm.
